T1 - Oak - 2m reduction - To prevent any limb failure that may cause damage to the garage. Reduction will provide clearance, prevent structural damage and maintain a balanced and healthy canopyT2 - Oak - 2m reduction - The tree has developed an uneven crown. The imbalance increases risk of limb failure and effects the tree's long-term structural stability. Reducing the crown will restore balance and reduce weight on over extended limbs.

    16 Alison Drive Camberley Surrey GU15 2DY

    Received 14 Nov 2025
  9. DecidedTWA/25/0328

Removal of beech tree showing clear signs of Meripilus giganteus, a decay fungus that causes significant deterioration of the structural root plate and is strongly associated with sudden, unpredictable whole-tree failure. Although the crown currently appears healthy, the presence of fruiting bodies indicates advanced root decay that cannot be remedied or reliably mitigated through pruning. Given the tree's compromised stability and its proximity to regularly used areas, it now presents an unacceptable safety risk. For these reasons, removal is considered the most appropriate management option, with a suitable replacement tree to be planted to maintain amenity value.
