What can I follow for free?

Individual property alerts and street alerts will be free. Choose a specific address or street to follow local planning changes. Area alerts are the paid option for monitoring a wider area and finding relevant projects.

Who are area alerts for?

Builders and trades can find extensions, conversions and approved projects. Architects, surveyors and planning consultants can follow new proposals. Estate agents, developers and building suppliers can spot changes and residential development opportunities in their area.

What does the API include?

Verified developer accounts receive 500 free requests per month for collected application search, details, decisions, dates, council document links and a resumable change feed. Coverage is incomplete. Paid plans, building control data and alerts are not available.

Is every area covered?

Coverage varies by council and data type. We are adding more council registers. Check the data coverage page for the current status before choosing an area.
