The works under the scheme comprise: - Raising a localised low spot in the sidewall of the auxiliary overflow chute. - Reinforcing a portion of the embankment downstream face and toe. - Raising the embankment crest by constructing a low-height wall along the upstream edge of the road (Chaffcombe Lane) over the entire length of the dam. - Raise the northern (downstream) sidewall of the stilling basin by up to 1m over a length of approximately 16m. - Fill in / block off (i.e., prevent flows through) the two left-most (looking downstream) auxiliary overflow culverts. These culverts are to be converted to bat roosts.
