T1 - To reduce protected oak tree by 3 metres all round and apply for permission from the council. The tree is extensively hollow at the base and through the main trunk (see photos) As the tree is liable to fail in the short to medium future, it is advised a crown reduction will reduce end weight and therefore wind loading on the tree which would increase the likelihood of failure.
