Planning conditions
  1. The works to which this consent relates shall be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this notice. Reason: To comply with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 (as amended by section 51 (4) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004)
  2. The works shall be carried out in accordance with the details indicated in the following drawings/documents: - Location plan, drawing no. (PL)003A - Existing elevations, drawing no. (PL)001A - Proposed elevations, drawing no. (PL)002A - Windows and doors schedule of works Received 11 May 2026. Reason : To define the plans/details to which this consent relates.
  3. The materials to be used in the carrying out of the development hereby permitted shall be in strict accordance with those specified in the application, namely timber framed door and windows, finished white. Reason: To ensure that the alterations to the external appearance of the building are acceptable, having regard to policies C6 and AB1 of the adopted Yorkshire Dales Local Plan 2025-2040.
  4. The window frames of the replacement windows hereby grnated consent shall be recessed from the external face of the wall in which they are set by the same recess depth (at the date of this decision notice) as the existing window they will be directly replacing, and shall be retained as such thereafter. Reason: To ensure that the external appearance of the building is acceptable, having regard to policies C6 and AB1 of the adopted Yorkshire Dales Local Plan 2025-2040.
