Notification of proposed works to trees within Sonning Conservation Area: T1 Yew – prune lateral branches to provide approximately 1m clearance from the church; T2 Yew – reduce lateral branches contacting the memorial Oak by approximately 1m; T4 Copper Beech – reduce one projecting lateral branch by up to 2m and prune the previously managed crown section back to its previous pruning template; T5 Lime, T8 Cedar, T9 Lawson Cypress, T10 Sessile Oak and T11 English Oak – remove significant deadwood; T6 and T7 Limes – remove significant deadwood and lower epicormic growth, including overdeveloped growth on the lowest branches; G1 (3 Limes) – remove epicormic growth up to upright regrowth; T13 Ash – remove significant deadwood with potential to fall into the church grounds; G2 (mainly Thuja) – prune low branches to provide 2.5m clearance from the roof; G3 (mixed species) – prune to provide clearance of up to 2m from the church; fell T3 Sorbus and T12, T14, T15 and T16 Lawson Cypresses to approximately 50mm above ground level, and T17 Thuja to approximately 500mm above ground level.
