Planning application documents: what to read first
Understand planning application documents, officer reports and decision notices. Use a reading checklist, document table and worked example to inspect a case.
Application overview
G1 - Holly and Yew: Reduce by 2.5m back to fence line located by pool boundary. T1 - Hawthorn: Fell, tree located at the right of front gate. T2 - Birch: Fell tree located at the front boundary. T3 - Eucalyptus - Reduce to just above hedge height to create a pollard as needed located at front boundary. T4 - Prunus: Fell located at the left of drive. T5 - Conifer: Fell located at the front of house. T6 - Chestnut: Fell located at the centre of woodland area. T7 - Oak: Reduce height and spread by 3-4m located at rear boundary. T8 - Red Oak: Reduce height and spread by 6-7m located left of woodland area by creating a pollard as needed. (Works subject to TPO 626/0076/1964) (Permission not required for deadwood)
