Planning application documents: what to read first
Understand planning application documents, officer reports and decision notices. Use a reading checklist, document table and worked example to inspect a case.
Application overview
T1 - Oak: Reduce crown by 4m and spread of overextended lateral branches by 3m to leave height of 14m and branches at 5m in length to balance with other side of crown (in front garden) and neighbour 33 Norfolk Farm Road. T2 - Oak: Fell. T3 - Specimen Oak: Remove deadwood from crown. G1 - Oak and Sweet Chestnut: Fell to ground level, stump to remain. T4 - Scotts Pine: Fell remove to ground level. T5 - Oak: Fell to ground level, stump to remain. T6 - Oak: Growing over patio from neighbours on the north side. Reduce extended limbs overhanging the boundary. Lowest limb to be removed completely back to the stem, upper canopy limbs overhanging the boundary to be reduced by 2m leaving 5m on each branch. T7 - Spindly Oak: Fell. T8 - Leaning Oak: Fell. T9,10,11 Cluster of self seeded Corsican Pines - Fell. (Works subject to TPO 626/0072/1966) Permission not required for deadwood
