Council planning record

1. Norway Maple- Reduce lateral overhang on the Western side of the tree by approximately 1m-2m. Because it is growing into the building and casuing interference with the guttering. 2. Limes (x2)- Reduce to ten foot pollards- These trees used to be big but were pollarded low a number of years ago. There are some cavities and water pockets in the centre of the tree so bringing them down to ten foot will avoid a large bow failing as well as making them easier to maintain. We did this to nine other Lime trees earlier this year and they all came back successfully. 3. Acer negundo- Reduce all over by approximately 20%-25%. This is because of how the union has formed and certain areas look like they might have developed cavities. This will help avoid a large bow falling on he foot path as well as re shaping the tree. 4. Prunus- Reduce by 50% to a pollard- Because half the tree has failed in a storm and the remaining half has a large split. 5. Prunus- Fell to ground level - This is because the tree has also failed and has a large split but removing it will allow the Field Maple adjacent to do better in the future. 6. Rowan- Fell to ground level- Because it is dead. 7. Elm- Fell to ground level only- Because it is dead.
