Application overview
The windows I am proposing to replace are located at the rear of the property. They are old, with failed (blown) glazing units that no longer function efficiently. The frames are mechanically jointed, making them structurally weaker and less energy-efficient than modern alternatives. Additionally, the windows are externally beaded, which presents a security risk. The rear of the property currently features uPVC double-glazed windows with Georgian bars. I intend to replace them with identical uPVC double-glazed windows that replicate the existing style, including the Georgian bars, maintaining the appearance of the property.
