Application overview
We wish to add some sound proofing in order to isolate the dwelling space from the shop below. To achieve this we intend to construct a false ceiling above which appropriate sound proofing material can be installed. To minimise heritage impact, we propose to apply the sound proofing to specific sections of the shop that already have false ceilings. These are denoted as zones 1, 2, 3, and 4; see the attached shop layout drawings.
