T1 - Lime - Located directly behind: 14 Chilton Field Way, Didcot OX11 0SZ Applying to pollard tree by removing 1/3 of the entire crown (approx. 3.5 meters.). Reasoning for works is due to the trees location within proximity to adjacent premises, the tree is over hanging the rear garden of 14 Chilton Field Way causing severe shading to both the garden and the property making all rooms to the rear of the house very dark all year around and especially in the summer months, this is the same with the adjacent property (3 Spa Street). The over hang causes leaf matter to build up in the garden meaning it destroys anything below it, by starting a pollarding routine with the tree it will allow the residents to be able to make good use of the garden by managing the tree every few years.

2No. common hornbeam identified as trees T017 and T018 on the Arbtech tree constraints drawing. The trees are identified as G3 on the TPO document 07/2019. Trees T017 and T018 are located in direct proximity to the approved construction of a large building to the north. As can be seen on the photos, the tree crown of one of the trees (T018) is now just past the building line and is at risk of damage from construction machinery. Furthermore, access is require for scaffolding and a MEWP on the south side of the building during construction which will require clearance from the tree canopy. It is proposed to prune 2.5m from the northern crown extent of tree T018 and to prune 1m from the northern crown extent of tree T017. 1No. common beech identified as tree T015 on the Arbtech tree constraints drawing.
