• P16/V3484/TCAT1 - Silver Birch T2 - Silver Birch T3 - Small Cherry/plum T4 - Apple T5 - Apple T1 - Dead Silver Birch to the left of the house in the front garden, fell to ground level to prevent uncontrolled structural failure. T2 - Silver Birch closest to the house, this tree has been very heavily pruned in the past, more than would be recommended for this species of tree, as a result there are most likely large rot pockets where there will not have been able to occlude it's wounds. This leads to structural weaknesses and as the tree grows beyond these points it can lead to structural failures. I would recommend due to its close proximity to the house that the crown is reduced by 30% to remove weight and lessen the chance of a failure. T3 - Rear right of the house Small Cherr/Plum, fell to ground level. T4 - Apple tree fell to ground level, poor specimen in the central section of the orchard.
