Council planning record

T1- Yew. Prune the tree away from the house to give approximately 1m clearance. T2- Beech (large tree adjacent to the garage). Reduce and reshape the tree by removal of 2.5-3m of height and lateral spread. All pruning cuts to be made to suitable live growth to maintain form and vigour. The tree has been historically reduced in the same manner; a similar reduction would enable the trees overall height and spread to be maintained in the space allocated. T3- Holly. Fell the tree cutting the stump to near ground level. The tree grows from the base of the wall and is likely to cause structural damage over time. T4- Roadside beech. Reduce and reshape the tree by removal of 2.5-3m of height and lateral spread. All pruning cuts to be made to suitable live growth to maintain form and vigour. This roadside tree is one sided and given the trees propensity to reach a large ultimate height and spread, it would be prudent to periodically limit its growth through sensitive reduction work. TG5- X3 Himalayan birch. Reduce and reshape the trees to maintain as compact specimens. Three trees growing close to one another: pruning would help maintain a more compact form, up to 1m of height and lateral spread, all pruning cuts made to suitable growth points to maintain form and vigour. T6- Holly. reduce the tree to the height of the gutter. (the tree is situated next to the house with the cable running near/through it. The tree has been routinely hedge trimmed. TG7- Portuguese laurel. Reduce the group by 1.5m to maintain as a low hedge. X3 shrubs planted as a hedge and should be maintained as such.
