Council planning record

Cherry Bay (1): This bush was planted very close to the house (about 18 inches from the external kitchen wall), and we have realised that it was planted just at the place where all of our oil and utility pipes feed into the kitchen. We are worried about the root system affecting the underground pipes, particularly as we will be doing work on our oil system in the next year or so. The top of the Cherry Bay is also interfering with our guttering. We would like to fell the Cherry Bay. Weeping birch (2): Earlier this year, we removed a neighbouring weeping birch to this tree which had died back in the crown with yellowing and black-spotted leaves. We thought this small birch might have been unaffected, but it also showed unexplained balding patches in its crown over the course of summer, and its leaves yellowed and developed black spots, and fell very early (also during summer months). We think this may be suffering from a similar disease to its neighbour, probably weakened by the fact that its placement by the annexe gives it little light. We would like to fell this tree. Lilac (3): We are unsure whether this tree is in our garden (within the conservation area), or whether it is across the boundary in our neighbour's garden (Amherst, which I don't believe is included in the conservation area). In any case, one of the main branches of this tree has grown down towards the ground into our garden and is a worry for its own structure, and the structure of the retaining wall between our gardens (please see pics). We would like to target prune this branch of the tree to improve the tree's growth structure and protect the retaining wall. All of this will be done in conjunction with our neighbours at Amherst, regardless of where the tree is technically rooted (our side or theirs).
