Council planning record

T1 - Leylandii - remove sagging branch that is touching the ground. T2 - remove the 2 conifers with yellow tape wrapped around them. They will not be replaced with trees but general planting. This area is overcrowded with trees. T3 & T4 - We intend to remove these 2 conifers (Leyland cypress) (in the foreground centre and right of the picture) marked with yellow tape. They are under the canopy of a large birch tree and are overcrowded. No replacements are planned. The intention is that by removing these trees are more natural native understory will return. T5 - We intend to remove these 2 conifers (Lawson cypress) with yellow tape attached (just visible on the tree in the foreground). They are next to and under the canopy of a large walnut tree. There is no intention to replace these trees as the area is overcrowded. The intention is that by removing these trees are more natural native understory will return. T6 - We intend to remove this maple tree. It is in a heavily overcrowded are next to another maple tree. There is no intention of replacing it. T7 - We intend to remove the lower branches of this Field maple tree (incorrectly marked as Oak on the survey diagram). (2 branches with yellow tape on them). They overhang the road and prevent taller vehicle access. T8 - We intend to remove sycamore trees at the back of this overgrown area. They will be replaced with silver birch (5-8 trees) and low level plants to provide screening to the playing fields behind this area. We intend to keep the Monterey Cypress in the foreground and trim it to try and restore its shape after it has been topped by the electricity provider to clear cables. T9 - We intend to remove this purple leaved plum tree. There is rot at the bottom of the trunk where a branch was previously. This has now fallen off. This can be seen in the picture. We intend to replace this with a Japanese maple (purple). Marked Maple on the survey map - We intend to remove this Acer Negundo. It is in a crowded area and is close to the house. It is also unhealthy. It would not be replaced by another tree although this area will be replanted with shrubs and low level bushes. It should be noted that there will be trees planted in other area in the grounds but these will not be directly replacing any of the trees above (unless stated otherwise) as these are nearly all in overcrowded areas and replacement tree would not be appropriate.
