T1. Mature pollarded lime tree growing on back garden boundary. Part of a row of lime trees that have been periodically pollarded to manage their size. Each property in the row of houses has one lime tree in the back garden and is responsible for the maintenance of their own tree. Therefore each tree in the row is a slightly different height from the others, depending on when they were last cut. The tree at the rear of number 80 is now due for re-pollarding. The work proposed is to re-pollard the tree in traditional fashion, cutting all regrowth back to the top of the main trunk. This work will need to be repeated in 3 to 5 years time.
