Council planning record

Group 1: marked on the sketch plan as 1-4. A number of shrubs planted along the side of the road boundary. Remove them all and replace them with native hedging plants such as hawthorn, elder and wild roses. At each end of this section of boundary there are already hawthorn bushes in place. The new hedge will in time join up with these. Group 2: Marked 5-9 on the sketch. These trees have been significantly managed in the past and I would like to continue with the management of them in a similar way, by crown lifting, thinning and shaping as appropriate. Group 3: 10-14 on the sketch. These are mainly the removal of significant dead growth or the removal of dead trees. The exception to this the lilac which has grown closer to the house. The tree is vigorous and will sprout back from the prune site. This is the tree surgeon's specification of the work on each tree, the references match the sketch map 5 Cherry Located to the front of the property crown to be recreated and shaped 6 & 7 Sycamore - Located to the front of the property to be crown lifted and crown thinned by 20% 8 Purple Plum - Located to the front of the property to be crown lifted by 0.5m 9 Bird Cherry - In corner of garden to the front of the property to be crown thinned by 20% 10 Silver Birch - Located to the front of the property to remove large dead wood from within the canopy 11 Lilac - Located on the side boundary to the rear of the property To be reduced down in height by 6m, prune away from the building roof. 12 Dead tree - Located at the rear of the Laurels on the side boundary to be felled 13 & 14 - Conifers In the rear garden to be felled
