Application overview
T1 Common Horse Chestnut Tree Crown Reduction - Reducing the height and spread of the tree by up to 4 meters (to previous points). All final cuts to be made at suitable points of secondary live growth, final shape to be a naturalistic, rounded form. Tree has been previously reduced( possibly 10-15 years previously) and now has pockets of decay in historic pruning wounds. Historic wound at base of tree with decay present. Reduce back to previous points to stabilise and prevent failure at old pruning wounds. Reason for recommended works Health & safety, due to decay and the location and also to bring back into scale with its location.
