Application overview
European Horse Chestnut Aesculus hippocastanum - the tree is located in the front garden of the property, the canopy partially overhangs the main Kennington Road. The tree is out-growing its location and the canopy requires reducing by 2-2.5m. Due to the location to the property, damage to drains/foundations the reduction works will slow the root growth. There is a fungal bracket located at the base of the tree, whilst it is not a major problem it will continue to affect the trees life in future years. The reduction works will take the weight of the limbs and reduce the loading (wind/rain/snow) of the tree, thus improving its life.
