Application overview
Old Apple tree previously poorly pruned. Plan to do restoration prune. Small amount of rotting branches at front of tree approx 30% reduction of overhang at the rear of the tree and to improve the shape mainly by thinning the canopy. There are two overhanging branches at the rear of the tree which we would take back to the trunk, the rest of the tree would be a small reduction of approx 1/2 metre. The thinning would be to remove approx 2 thirds of the small watershoots and reduce the rest to three buds.
