Application overview
T1. Mature sycamore tree, around 6 metres tall. Stem diameter around 50 cm at 1.3 metres. This tree has been pollarded back to a single trunk periodically in the past. the last time appears to have been around 15 years ago. This is an appropriate form of pruning for this tree as it is very close to the house and driveway, and now overhangs both, as well as being close to the road. We intend to re-pollard to the previous cuts, allowing the tree to begin its growth cycle again. T2. Mature culinary pear tree growing flush against the side wall. Height around 4 metres. This tree appears to have been originally grown as a fan-trained tree against the house wall, but has been left unpruned for decades, resulting in an overgrown and unproductive tree, with the trunk and roots causing damage to the brick work. We intend to fell and remove this tree.
