Large Cedar, centrally located in the cemetery. Following removal of remains of branches that had been broken off by storm Eunice (Ref. P22/V0487/TCA) we plan to carry out the following works to reduce the chance of further wind damage: Remove dead wood from the crown. Target prune lateral limbs to reduce weight. As shown in the attached photographs, some branches are growing out of the canopy to a significant extent. We propose to cut back these branches. This is a large and prominent tree. We would appreciate a visit from a Vale Tree Officer to give advice on the proposed work.
