Application overview
Planning permission and Listed Building Consent is sought to raise the height of the chimney to 1.8m above the thatched ridge line, to comply to current safety and insurance standards for thatched buildings. For the fireplace, it is proposed that the current old woodburning stove is replaced with a newer more efficient woodburning stove that complies with the Clean Air Act and offers more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly wood burning technology.
