Application overview
T1, Lime/Tilia - Crown lift to statutory clearance over road and footpath. Reduce canopy to give 3m clearance to building by removing secondary branches only. Remove epicormic growth from base of tree. Reduce co-dominant sections of crown back to within crown profile. Reasons for work - Lifting, removing epicormic and heading back from building - In the interests of good arboricultural practice. Reducing the co-dominant sections of crown - The tree has been heavily pruned historically resulting in a number of compression forks and poor morphology. The pruning will help to achieve uniform stress across the upper canopy whilst retaining the amenity value of the tree.
