Work to Trees covered by Tree Preservation Order 2006, No. 13: Crown reductions. 6 trees (1847) running E to W adjacent to Hospital boundary wall with Spencer Drive. Crown slightly suppressed by adjacent trees in avenue to W & S. Reduce N lateral spread of mid & upper crown over adjacent gardens by 3-4 m to suitable live growth points around the boundary leaving an overall spread N of 4m to balance tree, abate dominant overhang and branch failure hazard in high winds. Sever ivy around base of tree.
