Council planning record

We have two mature Sweet Chestnut trees in our rear garden. One of which, (T3) is displaying signs of butt rot and has deteriorated since our request for removal a few years ago. You will see from the attached tree report, which was carried out before our building work commenced that it was in fair condition, however, it's condition has really declined over the past few years and has therefore become an even greater concern to us. We have recently had two tree surgeons round to asses and both strongly advised removal. It is a very large unhealthy tree and could potentially cause massive damage to both our property and neighbouring properties should it fall in bad weather. You will see from the images attached evidence of the rotting, along with the roots which are now above ground. In the additional photo you will also see that it really lacked in foliage last year which can be compared to T2.We urge you to consider once again the removal of this dying tree.
