Council planning record

Willow tree (as shown on sketch plan) - Reduce size by 50%. The tree is very large and overgrown for its location. The branches are now touching the side wall of 4 Marshall Close and resting against the brickwork in places. Our neighbours at 6 Marshall Close have also complained that the tree is so large it is blocking light to part of their garden and the branches are hanging over into their garden at head height and below. We are concerned that the tree is also becoming extremely tall. Having taken advice from a tree surgeon we propose to get the tree's size reduced but not until the end of the growing season to ensure minimal impact on any birds/wildlife and also to prevent harm to the tree.
