Application overview
Change of Use of an existing site and premises to a Highways Depot. Functions will include Office, Vehicle Workshop, Warehousing, Welfare, Highways contracting, Road gritting operation, Schools transport operation, Fuel storage, Vehicle parking, Signs manufacture and Storage. Inside the Warehouse it is proposed to construct welfare accommodation for out-workers and will involve forming a new door and windows in existing walls. The proposed construction of a Salt Barn and garaging for Gritter lorries. Provision of a weighbridge, Brine-making plant, Gritter vehicle washdown facility and Fuel storage area.
