Application overview
The proposed works include internal alterations and the construction of a new two storey extension linking the two existing buildings (a Community Building and Nursery) via a new lift shaft and access corridor, this will involve breaking through portions of existing wall to create the corridor. This application is to convert the Community Centre into a Children Centre by day and allow use by others at weekends and in the evenings. The attached two storey Nursery building is to be used as a reception for the complex, a waiting area and a nursery together with the associated services. The upper floor is to be made into offices and consulting areas to be used by the PCT. The outside play area is to be shared by both buildings.
