Council planning record

-T1 common beech - Reduce to form approximate 6-8metres structural framework. -T2 sycamore - Remove to near ground. -T3 mulberry - Reduce central failed upright by approximately 2metres to reduce weight loading. Attempt to re-erect failed limb by winching, gradually and carefully, to opposite upright stem. -T4 Siberian crab apple - Remove deadwood. -G1, yew - Reduce composite crowns by approximately 2-3metres laterally and by 2metres in height. Reduce crown of southern most tree by approximately 3metres on garden side, to achieve collectively uniform feature. Prune lower growth on garden side to give approximately 3.5metres clearance from garden level and to reveal trunks. -G2, Lawson cypress - Reduce remaining cypress to approximately 2-3metres in height. -G3, common beech - Reduce both trees in height by approximately 6metres, so they form cohesive feature collectively. Reduce abruptly angled central leader on northern tree to just above wound site and install cable bracing, (either cobra, gefa or similar flat braid) rated to at least 4t minimum breaking strength, in triangular formation at approximately 8-10metres. Southern beech tree, install cable brace (same specification) but in oval configuration at 8-10metres, on two main primary stems and in triangular formation at around 4metres between northernmost 3 stems. Pre-tension stems, use bracing belt or straps and oval configuration.
