A single yew tree (taxus baccata) Cutting back yew limbs to either a branch collar or to a fork using rigging technique due to obstacles underneath. There are two large branches that I plan to reduce to half their length and then cut back others by about 1.5m to balance the tree's appearance. This work will only be to branches that overhang my property (I have spoken to my neighbour who is happy for this work) I will not be reducing the height as this is not on my property.

Two cherry trees that are hanging dangerously over the road. T1 has been consistently hit by high sided traffic. Both T1 and T2 have loose roots and could potentially fall. Work advised by Elm Park Tree Services, arborists, is to cut main trunk of both trees to before the strong upright growth thereby eliminating pull on roots and danger of falling onto road or pedestrians. This will leave the trees alive but safe. Positioning of cuts proposed shown on attached photograph.

  24. Decision MadeP23/S2114/TCA

T1- Willow. Reduce the tree by 4-5m. The tree has been previously reduced with moderate regrowth. The tree appears to be beginning to fail, leaning towards the adjacent house and power lines. The tree reduction would allow the leverage to be reduced while allowing the tree to regenerate from a lower more manageable height. Prune the understory away from the adjacent power lines to give 1m clearance. T2- Goat willow. Crown raise by removal of the X2 lowest branches to allow more light filtration to the garden below.

Breach Cottage, High Street, Wheatley, OX33 1XU

What these statistics cover

These figures describe applications collected by PlanningTrack for South Oxfordshire District Council, across all dates currently available. They are a partial dataset, rather than an authority-wide performance measure. The date range does not establish continuous historical coverage.

The approval percentage is approved records divided by approved plus refused records. Pending, withdrawn and unknown outcomes are excluded. No percentage is shown until there is an approved or refused record.
