Exception There is a mature protected oak tree at Flint Fold, an outbuilding of the Police Rehabilitation Flint House complex. The tree is tagged as 4452 and protected as part of G1 of TPO 05/1999. ÿ The tree is (or was) comprised of 2 main stems from a low fork. There has been a visible cavity at the base for some years but it appeared to be stable. Over the weekend the eastern most stem collapsed into the garden of a neighbouring property, Laundry Cottage.
