Application overview
FIVE DAY NOTICE The tree is a birch tree in my lawn. It has been leaning slightly for some time, but in recent days has moved significantly and is now leaning dangerously, and needs to be removed before it falls. The roots on one side have started to lift above ground level, and cracks have formed in the ground which are so wide a hand fits easily in them. If/when it falls, it is likely to destroy a garden pergola. It is not close to any of my boundaries. I have contacted a local tree surgeon, who has advised that the tree is dangerous and should be taken down immediately. I have therefore arranged for him to attend to remove the tree on Thursday 8th August.
