Council planning record

The trees are a group of Sycamores in the rear garden of no. 8 Springhill Road. They all have TPO's on them. Please see the attached detailed report, diagram /plan and photographs for supporting evidence. 1. Removal of T2 Sycamore - Blocks light, plus has a co-dominant stem FIG 3,4, 6 - T2 sycamore is self-generated (Semi-Mature )and noted to have a co-dominant stem formation , with a tight included union. This stem defect could cause the tree to become unsafe and reduce its Safe Useful Life Expectancy. 2. Removal of T3 Sycamore - Blocks light, plus has co-dominant stem FIG 3 & 4 - Forms a communal canopy with T2, directly blocks our light, plus has a weak union which might reduce its Safe Useful Life Expectancy 3. T1 - Formative Reduction - T1 sycamore will be slightly unbalanced following the proposed removal of T2 & T3, therefore we request a formative reduction to T1, improving its form by reducing the north, west and southern laterals by up to 2m, to suitable secondary growth points. Reduce height to suitable growth points by up to 1.5m, leaving a balanced and flowing crown profile. Lift crown by 4m. 4. T4 - Formative Reduction - T4 sycamore will be slightly unbalanced following the proposed removal of T2 & T3, therefore we request a formative reduction to T4, improving its form by reducing the north, east and southern laterals by up to 2m, to suitable secondary growth points. Reduce height to suitable growth points by up to 1.5m, leaving a balanced and flowing crown profile. Lift crown by 4m
