Council planning record

T1 is a mature maiden willow tree in the north west corner of the water meadow that has a pronounced lean over a well used permissive path around the perimeter of the water meadow. The proposal is to pollard the tree to reduce the risk of failure over the path, and to increase light levels to help to dry out this section of footpath. (3-4m from the ground). T2 is a mature willow pollard beside the central footpath and culvert that has spilt at the base and collapsed. The proposal is to clear up the split out stems and re-pollard it. T3 is a mature ash tree beside the Thame, upstream of the bridge onto the water meadows from the north. A large limb has torn out and is resting on the southern bank of the Thame. The proposal is to clear up the torn out branch, but there is no intention to carry out any other remedial work to the tree at this time.
