Council milestones and published deadlines. A deadline passing does not confirm a decision.
Magnolia tree: approx. spread 10 metres (m), approx. height 8m; now to be reduced on one side (south side) by approx. 2.5m. An adjacent Cherry tree (in poor condition and leaning into the Magnolia) was removed, with Planning Permission, in July. The close proximity of the Cherry tree had however caused one side of the Magnolia not to grow. We now wish to reduce the spread to re-balance the tree and to encourage more even growth. The work will be carried out by David Cotterell, registered tree surgeon, hopefully in November.
