Council planning record

FIVE DAY NOTICE T1 - Liquid Amber x 1 - The tree has experienced multiple catastrophic limb failures due to a combination of seasonally high wind speed gusts of up to 55mph that passed through the area on the weekend of 15th July 2023. Evidence of co dominant union failure in the upper crown of the tree that has also led to this section failing on other branches causing them to also fail. This has left the remaining upper stem exposed to North Easterly winds that are funnelled through a small avenue of trees to the north east. It has been advised that the area be cordoned off until such time that the remaining section of the tree is removed, to reduce likelihood of failure onto hardstanding access path & lawn area that is used by office staff during break times. Fire assembly points will be revised accordingly too as they are within the lawn area the other side of G1.
