Council planning record

T1 - has a slight asymmetrical bias towards neighbouring property and extends significantly over the boundary line - Reduce vertical aspect by up to 3ms and lateral profiles by up to 2ms paying particular attention to the southern aspect of the tree - There is concern that recent subsidence on the lawn close to significant surface lateral roots may be as a result of movement in the tree and as such the tree would benefit from a smaller more compact crown template alleviating some of the pressure on the buttresses flare and lateral surface roots. Given the trees proximity to the neighbouring dwelling and their frequently used garden area under the trees it would be prudent to minimise the risk of heave or failure - Remove any dead, diseased or dying branches as a matter of course and carry out an aerial inspection of the major unions and any underlying defects. T2 - has a larger crown with several aspects of over extension which would benefit from being reduced back into the trees natural profile - Reduce vertical aspect by up to 3ms and selective lateral profile extension by up to 3ms on the northern side of the tree - Given the current lapsed pollard template of the tree and the significant pressure on main union caused by the size of the regrowth it would be a prudent measure to remove the 2 large regrowth leader on the southern aspect to reduce the risk of failure on the neighbouring property. There is good secondary interior growth on some of the other 'leaders' that will remain filling in this profile on the tree nicely - Remove any dead, diseased or dying branches as a matter of course and carry out an aerial inspection of the major unions and any underlying defects.
