Council milestones and published deadlines. A deadline passing does not confirm a decision.
Excavation of trial pits to assess the presence of roots and in particular the larger woody roots. Trenches will be excavated by hand and photos taken. Any woody roots over 300mm would be left in situ and dug around. The depth of the trenches will be determined by any roots present but if no large roots are present the plan is to see if we can get to a depth of 250-300mm which would enable a ground beam to be sunk level with the surrounding ground level.
