Council planning record

T1) Beech One mature beech tree. Approximately 15m tall. 5m away from boundary. 1st tree RH side in group looking from property. Tallest tree within group of 5 between property and footpath. Reported to sway in wind. Slightly leaning. Old split in main stem near ground level. Recommendation/Request Reduce crown by approximately 20%, equivalent to 2m from height and side growth. T2) Beech One mature beech tree. Approximately 10m tall. 1m away and closest to boundary. 2nd tree RH side in group looking from property. Tree previously topped (had upper crown and stem removed) Main lower stem has extensive areas of dead cambium where the integrity of the wood can no longer be guaranteed, mostly on the opposite side to property. Extent of decay was possible to observe only with sound testing not visually. Tree is in a very poor condition. Recommendation/Request Fell, leaving a low stump. For T1 and T2 All brushwood will be chipped on site and recycled by spreading on woodland floor. All timber will be left stacked in log length tidy eco wood piles (that I suspect will disappear by log souvenir hunters). The work place will be left in a clean and tidy condition.
