Application overview
T1 - Common Ash Tree - the tree is located on Picture Cottage grounds which has been confirmed by myself after visiting the property to meet the land owner. Unfortunately, the tree has suffered with Ash die back and has little growth and has been getting worse over the years. Concerns about the tree has come to light and urgent action must be carried out due to the direction of lean from the tree but also from a cost point of view; method for keeping the price down is being able to climb the tree without the use of a Cherry Picker whilst the tree still has leaves/life. On Picture Cottage grounds there are young children, pedestrians, animals and gardeners. The tree is dangerous and needs removing. Action required - dismantle/fell Ash tree down to ground level. Replant with different hard wood species tree, to replace the tree removed.
