2x Mature Sycamores almost opposite to the church on a raised bank adjacent to a property boundary wall. Both trees have asymmetrical canopies and have both been heavily reduced historically (30+ years ago). Both trees have extensive decay at the historic cut points and also on the main stems and as a result, have large cavities at the historic pollard heads and into the stems. As I have said before, my sense is that its time for these trees to be removed and replaced or heavily restructured to mitigate the wind loading on the hollow stems. T1 and T2 Sycamore - To dismantle the trees in sections to ground level and treat the stumps to inhibit regeneration.
