Council planning record

The trees along the road boundary are from a line of trees that were planted probably as a hedgerow many years ago and the remnants of these are now outgrown and have grown out of sale with their situation, growing into the power lines, pressing against the fence and having had their canopies raised to comply with statutory clearances. They now dominate the area and are at the end of their potential safe useful life expectancy. Trees consist of 4 groups. 2 groups of Conifers and a Holly and a Plum near the entrance, and another tree. I would recommend that the Conifers are removed and that the deciduous trees are restructured down to fence height and allowed to become part of a hedge line. I can't see any other reasonable management protocols for these trees. G1 To dismantle and remove Conifers adjacent to the house. G2 To dismantle and remove the Conifers in the rear garden. T3 To reduce the Prunus near the parking area. T4 To reduce Malus sp. adjacent to the telegraph pole down to historic pruning height of 1.2-1.5m.
