Works to trees in Spalding Conservation Area. Holm oak located in the garden of 6 Church Street which overhangs the garden of 4A Church Street and potentially shades the garden of 2 Church Mews. The tree has been pruned before where it overhangs the boundary wall. It is proposed to prune by no more than 1.5 metres off the end of the longest hanging branch over 4A Church Street; reducing the remainder of the overhanging canopy by 0.5 metres which will make the edge of the canopy in a line parallel to the top of the wall. Two silver birch trees in the front garden of 2 Church Mews. a) Larger tree on the eastern side of the entrance drive set furthest from the dwelling. Prune branches by no more than 1.5 metres back from the edge of the road and shape the tree to give a balanced crown. Remove any stub ends. To maintain the tree in the space available. b)Smaller tree covering the street light,on the eastern side of the entrance drive, appears to be in poor health. Remove.
