Carry out a minor crown reduction by no more than 10%. b)Middle tree of three, reduce to a pollarded stump of three metres. The tree contained much fungi, likely to be a type of Ganoderma and the top of the tree had recently blown out. c)Tree at the eastern end, reduce crown by two to three metres to give a well balanced canopy,(approximately two metres to be removed from the top and three metres from the sides). The works are required due to the canopy showing approximately 15% die back. d) Remove ivy in August/September, once any birds have finished nesting should they be present. (Verbal consent was given for the pruning works to be carried out on 19th May 2014, providing no nesting birds present, as the road was closed for works to the Level Crossing.).
