Application overview
Planning Application for the Extraction of White Lias Limestone at Slate Lane, West Camel, Somerset. Condition 13 requires that: ‘Trees, shrubs and other plants shall be planted in accordance with the details set out the application documents within the first planting season following commencement of the development and measures for their protection in the course of the development, shall be submitted in writing for the approval of the County Planning Authority. For a period of five years following their planting the trees/shrubs shall be protected and maintained, and any trees/shrubs which die, or become seriously damaged or diseased shall be replaced in the following planting season with others of similar size and species, unless the County Planning Authority gives written approval to any variation’.
