Application to discharge condition 5 (Biodiversity Enhancement (Net Gain)) of permission SCC/3745/2020: The following must be integrated into the design of the buildings and site plans: a. Installation of 4 X standard bird boxes and 2 open fronted nest boxes, purchased or built, on to mature trees on site, facing east or north, at a height above 3m. b. Reptile refuge habitat comprised of a pile of branches and brash, as a habitat pile, will be placed on the retained grassland along the south-eastern boundary of the site. c. The grassland blocks around the southern boundary and within the retained traffic island are to be managed as wildflower grassland. Planting and management prescriptions are to following Section 4.5 of the Bridgwater Saltlands: Updated Ecological Assessment and Bat Report (Somerset Ecology Services, 2020). Photographs of the installed features must be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to occupation. The features must be retained and maintained for the lifetime of the development. Reason: In accordance with Government policy for the enhancement of biodiversity within development as set out in paragraph 170(d) of the National Planning Policy Framework.
