Decision & conditions

Prior Approval; Refused Not PD
Decision Notice Officers Report
Planning conditions
  1. The notification for prior approval is for works that do not fall within the scope of permitted development, as the original dwelling has a staggered rear elevation with a side wall, therefore the enlarged part of the dwellinghouse would extend beyond an original side wall and would be more than half the width of the original house (measured at the widest point). Therefore, failing to comply with clause (j) (iii) of Class A, Part 1 of Schedule 2 of The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended). It would therefore not be permitted development and will require an application for planning permission.
