Planning conditions
  1. The proposals, by virtue of their design, scale, width, depth, massing, bulk, roof form and height, fail to respect the character and design of the original dwellinghouse and would fail to appear visually subordinate to it. The cumulative scale of the proposals would result in inadequate amenity space being retained to serve the future occupiers of the development and there is insufficient parking spaces to serve the development. Therefore, the proposals are contrary to DP1, DP3, EX20, EX21, EX27, EX29 and EX48 of the Residential Extensions Guidelines SPD (2010), Saved Policies EN1, EN2, H15 and T2 of the Slough Local Plan (2004), Core Policies 7 and 8 of the Core Strategy (2008) and contrary to Paragraphs 131 and 135 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024).
  2. It is the view of the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development does not improve the economic, social and environmental conditions of the area for the reasons given in this notice and it is not in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework.
  3. Drawings considered: - E-X-001 Rev C, dated October 2025, received 26/03/2026 - A-L-001 Rev D, dated October 2025, received 26/03/2026
